This is notes about encoding to make this work right...
I used Pinnacle to do my editting. Pinacle won't encode with codecs I need. I saved it out as uncompressed AVI.
I used Winff --gui based ffmpeg, encoded to mpeg4 with h264, aac audio - setup the preset "mpeg4 very good quality"
currently have pinnacle, avs, ulead for editting
currently have super and winff for conversions. rocking... way better compression and quality... should use that to convert everything.
embedded player is jwplayer.
NOTE - ran the mp4's thru QTindexSwapper. This moves index from end of file to front so that player doesn't have to download the whole movie before it begins playing.
Orgaization
all video related files dump in video directory.
should be 3 per video - all same name
one is html page "video-xxxxxxxx.html"
one is thumnbnail 100x100 pixels in png "video-XXXXXX-thumb.png"
one is the video in mpeg4 container h264 with aac audio "video-xxxxxxxx.mp4"
